VELPLASTIC® is Pirinplast's registered mono-material polypropylene sheet. PPWR Grade A, ADR-certified, corona-printable to 44 dyne/cm, and supplied flat-pack across the European Union from Gotse Delchev, Bulgaria.

The European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation reshapes every primary, secondary and tertiary packaging placed on the EU market. Recyclability grade becomes the gating decision, replacing cost per square metre.
PPWR grades every packaging from A to E by the recyclability that European infrastructure can in practice deliver. Grade A materials recycle cleanly at industrial scale today. Grades D and E flag materials that European recycling streams do not recover, and from 1 January 2030 these cannot be placed on the EU market.
Foam PVC and rigid PVC carry chlorine that contaminates the polyolefin recycling stream. They consistently grade D or E under PPWR. From 1 January 2028, EPR eco-modulation begins: producer contributions scale inversely with recyclability grade, so PVC pays the highest per-kilogram fee two years before the outright ban.
European retail chains and brand owners exporting to Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia are already filtering suppliers by recyclability grade. The regulation is the floor; the market is above it. A three-year contract today on foam PVC is a progressive market exit, rising EEAA-equivalent contributions from 2028, and forced reinvestment in new material before 2030.

VELPLASTIC® is a twin-wall extruded polypropylene sheet, mono-material throughout.
VELPLASTIC® is Pirinplast's registered trade mark for corrugated polypropylene sheet, converted into industrial transport boxes, returnable totes, dividers, protective panels and signage. The only corrugated polypropylene sheet produced under a registered trade mark in Bulgaria.

Cut length to 6,000 mm flat, roll length to 60,000 mm at 2 to 2.5 mm thicknesses. Minimum width 400 mm. Width covers Euro pallet footprints and large-format signage from one extrusion programme.
2 – 8 mm
Thickness range
Ten thicknesses from 2 mm to 8 mm. Grammage 270 to 1,700 g/m² standard, up to 2,400 g/m² on specific flute geometries. Lighter-grammage variants for cost-optimised builds.
Mono – PP
Material
Single-polymer polypropylene throughout. No coatings, laminates or foil layers. Single-stream recyclable at end of life through any European polypropylene channel. PPWR Grade A by design.

Compressive strength above 3,000 kPa at 1,500 g/m², BDS EN 23035, edge-on flute-direction. Closed-cell twin-wall carries stack load and impact at industrial transport scale.
